Job Title: Stadium Tour Route Cleaner

Location: Anfield Stadium

Department: Cleaning 

Reports To: Cleaning Supervisor

Job Purpose

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the Anfield Stadium tour route, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and presentable environment for all visitors, staff, and guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas along the stadium tour route to a high standard

• Clean, sanitise, and restock toilet facilities (including toilets, sinks, mirrors, soap, paper towels, and toilet paper)

• Sign toilet check sheets after each visit

• Carry out dry and wet wiping of surfaces such as handrails, displays, doors, and touchpoints

• Sweep and spot mop floors, including spot cleaning spills as required

• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines

• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the supervisor promptly

• Dispose of waste correctly and in line with stadium procedures

• Work efficiently to ensure cleaning is completed within scheduled timeframes

• Maintain professionalism when working in public areas during tour operating hours

• Any cleaning tasks given out by supervisor or line manager to be carried out

Health & Safety

• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

• Wear provided PPE as required

• Ensure cleaning areas are safe for visitors by using appropriate signage (e.g. wet floor signs)

Skills and Experience

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

• Physically able to carry out cleaning duties, including mopping and lifting supplies

Working Hours

• Shifts are Sunday-Monday 09:00-16:00 with 60 minute unpaid break
