Kitchen Cleaning Technician - Ascot
Job description
Reporting into the Senior Technician you will be trained and supported to become a part of the wider Kitchen Deep Cleaning team. You will be trained within 4 weeks to be able to work as part of the team deep cleaning all parts of a commercial kitchen. You will learn skills that can be used in your future that will open up opportunities for you. Once you have completed your initial 4 week training the hourly rate will rise by £1 to an hourly rate of £16 per hour, the role is initially for an 11 week period with opportunities after within the wider business and potentially a long term contract within the team.
After training you will be expected to work independently but as part of the team to fully deep clean the list of equipment below (This is not a definitive list as each kitchen has different equipment within it)
* Ovens including Rational type and traditionally ovens
* 6 Burner hobs and solid tops
* Fryers
* Filters/ Plenum/ Canopy
* Salamanders
* Hot Cardboards/ Surfaces/ Trolleys
* Fridges/ Freezers (Including walk in type)
* Sinks, Floors, Walls, Ceilings, Wheels and Doors
You will also be trained to use competently the following bits of equipment
* Floor Cleaning Machines
* Steaming Machines
* Decarbonisor Machines
* Vacuums Wet and Dry
* Pressure Washing Machines
Person Specification
Although experience of this industry would be beneficial its not essential, we are looking for motivated hard working individuals who do not mind working with heavy/ dirty grease and are willing to learn.
Our inhouse training department will teach you the skills you need to carry out the work, we are a good natured bunch who enjoy working as part of a team.
