Cleaning Supervisor Vacancy 

We currently have cleaning Supervisor vacancy in the CFA (Academy / All Buildings)

Location                                    Manchester City Football Academy

Contract Type                            Permanent

Working Days                            5 days as required

Working Times                          14:00 – 22:00 – may vary for business needs

Shift Pattern                              5 over 7 to meet business needs

Hourly Rate                               £14:40

Weekly Working Hours              37.5

 

Key Role Responsibilities

 

We are looking for an experience cleaning supervisor to supervise and manage a team of cleaning operatives, undertaking daily inspections of the buildings and ensuring staff are working productively and safely.

 

*        Ensure the activation areas, in the building, external pitches are event ready

*        Liaise with the CE management to ensure you are aware of any changes or additions to activations/events.

*        The supervision of all operatives during the core hours to ensure standards of cleanliness always delivered.

*        Monitoring of all cleaning activities

*        Ensuring all operatives are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures

*        The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures

*        Good interpersonal skills

*        Understand and deliver instruction or direction from CE management to the team

*        Provide accurate work-related information back to CE management which may be relevant to the operation.

 
 
 
 
 

You will also: 

  • Work with client representatives to address any specific requirements or concerns.
  • Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels
  • Assist with training
  • Carry out general cleaning duties.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Experience in a cleaning supervisory role
  • BICS qualification preferred, training can be given
  • Strong people management skills
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of work
  • Strong communication skills - essential for client liaison
  • A general understanding of Health and Safety legislation
  • Good IT literacy
