Job Title: Waste / External Operative

Location: Tottenham Training Centre

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 08:00–15:00, 5 out of 7 days (Monday to Friday, flexibility required)Break: 30-minute unpaid break

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and remove waste from designated areas
• Sort and separate recyclable materials
• Operate van and equipment; perform basic checks
• Ensure proper waste disposal procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and vehicle
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Keep accurate records and monitor waste collections
• Clean and empty external bins
• Operate food composting equipment
• Sweep and maintain external areas

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence (clean)
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cleaning or waste management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Communicative level of English
• Willingness to work additional hours if required
• Willing to undertake training as needed
