  • Over the past six years, I’ve gone from starting as a cleaner to coordinating major national events—and it’s all thanks to the incredible support and opportunities at CleanEvent. From working at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and Cheltenham Racecourse, to completing a leadership apprenticeship with Distinction and taking part in an international exchange programme in Australia, every step has helped me grow both professionally and personally. CleanEvent truly invests in its people, and I’m proud to be part of a team that’s helped shape my career in such an exciting and rewarding way.

  • Joining CleanEvent as a HR apprentice has been such a rewarding experience. I came in with no office background, but the support from the People and Safety Team has been incredible in helping me settle in and grow. In just a couple of months, I’ve gained hands-on experience with our HR systems, supported key processes and even visited some amazing venues like Manchester City FC, Ascot Racecourse and Co-op Live. Every day brings something new to learn, and I’m excited to keep developing my skills and contributing to the team.

  • After 25 years in retail, I was ready for a fresh challenge—and CleanEvent offered exactly that. Despite having no cleaning background, I quickly found my place as a Venue Presentation Manager at ACC Liverpool, then later at Aintree Racecourse. From running the Grand National to supporting Eurovision night operations, I’ve had incredible experiences in iconic venues. CleanEvent saw my potential and backed me to pursue a Level 5 Regional Management apprenticeship, proving you’re never too old to learn. The support, belief and variety here have made this one of the most rewarding chapters in my career.

  • I started with CleanEvent in 2015 as casual event-day staff at Wembley and gradually worked my way up through dedication, learning and support. From pressure washing and post-event cleans to leading night shifts and deep cleans, every step built my skills and confidence. Thanks to the encouragement of colleagues, I progressed to Supervisor, then Senior Supervisor and now serve as Day-to-Day Manager at Tottenham. I’ve had the chance to work on Premier League, Champions League, NFL games, concerts and more. CleanEvent has supported my journey every step of the way—and I’m proud to be part of the family.
